Chief Executive Officer

Amir Tukulj is Chief Executive Officer of Thane Direct where he oversees all worldwide operations of the global marketing company. Tukulj is respected industry-wide for his pioneering achievements in direct response across the international marketplace, and joined Thane to spearhead the establishment of its international distribution operations in 1997. Tukulj was among a small group of elite executives who helped bring direct response marketing to the global marketplace.  As a senior executive with Canada-based Interwood Marketing, he traveled the world to introduce products that had achieved direct marketing success in the US to regions throughout the world – at the same time playing a significant role in establishing the infrastructure for direct marketing in each international territory.

In 2006, Tukulj demonstrated the crucial importance of the international market to Thane Direct, laying the groundwork for the company’s transformation from a US company with an international division to an international company with a US division.  Tukulj led the direct marketing industry in underscoring the international marketplace as a major revenue generator, rather than an afterthought to the US market.  In so doing, Tukulj and his senior management team have built a distribution network that encompasses more than 100 countries worldwide.  He launched Thane wholly-owned subsidiaries throughout the world’s key markets, creating vertically integrated operations that covered US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, Middle East and Australia.

Chief Financial Officer

Russel Orelowitz serves as Chief Financial Officer for Thane Direct.  Prior to joining Thane in 2009, Orelowitz held senior-level positions with high-profile public and private corporations in retail, direct response and consumer products marketing.  Spanning over 25 years, his impressive career in finance includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for a leading national chain of jewelry stores, as well as senior management posts with leading companies engaged in direct-to-consumer marketing.
